Hi everyone,

I've already talked about my cars in my into thread. If you're curious, it's called HI. I currently do RallyX in a 1999 Subaru 2.5rs and a 1993 Legacy Wagon. When RallyX isn't happening (maybe 6 events a year) I do AutoX to fill the time. I don't build my cars to meet a class, I build them to have fun.

I currently own a 2018 Fiesta ST in white with Recaros and 4200 miles on the OD. This car was bought to look good enough driving to work and get beat to hell on the weeks.

The 6 point is nuts. Mine took a really hard hit and needs replacing now. The tubes flattened from hitting a chunk of concrete in the road that i couldnt avoid. Its still doing its job though

You have to kind of twist and flex the 6 point into position

I have the same coilovers. Love them. Would definitely recommend. Though I did just see a post on here about Meister coilovers being on sale for $995 delivered, which is just about the same price point as the BCs. So that could be worth a look!

They've gone up in quality since the last set I bought 6ish years ago. Height and pre-load were perfect from the factory, just needed to dial in camber how I wanted. 10/10 would recommend unless you Fortune Auto money https://www.shop-fortune-auto.com/c...ucts/ford-fiesta-st-2014-500-series-coilovers

why was the install so hard?
Like they said, it's a wiggle twist kinda thing. That and the 5th/6th points on the chassis aren't welded down all the way so I kept having to bend the nut back in place when I was bolting it down.

I installed my CoolerWorkX Pro Short Shifter and No-Piston EVAP Skid Plate over the weekend. 10/10 would suggest not running a short shift adapter with this shifter. I straight lost neutral and it took me 30 minutes to figure out it's because my shifts were so short I was jumping over it.

I want one of those shifters, but I just can't justify the expense vs the other things that I need.
Earlier today I thought "wow, could've bought an LSD for how much I paid for this"

Then I had my cheap ass co-worker drive my car (the dude will literally buy a normal big gulp over a double big gulp to save $.20) and he said "I don't care how much you spent on this shifter, it was worth it".

Literally my thought process. If I can manage on track with my big turbo and good tires I'll wait on the LSD and get the shifter... stupid shifter... stupid money....

A LSD should be the very first thing installed lol. I thought about buying the Coolerworx too but traction is priority right now. Someday I will buy one. I drove an RS with a CAE and it was awesome.

It should've been standard. There was no reason to not offer it, how much would it have REALLY added to the price of the car? Its likely that it will be my next purchase after wheels and tires... before the shifter... lol

Nothing new on the Fiesta. Awhile ago I put on a Whoosh V3 with Whoosh IC pipe that I DEI tape wrapped. Threw on an updated Dizzy tune as well. We'll see if this helps my AITs during AutoX.

I also aquired a new car. I have a soft spot for 02-03 WRX (bugeyes) and have wanted another one for a few years. I stumbled across this one with a blown motor for $500. It's Blaze yellow which I'm excited about. I threw on my 5Zigen and rolled it out back of the shop to sit until I get time to work on it again.

I also ordered the girlfriend a set of Speedlines and Mud Terrains for her 2018 Forester XT about a year ago. Finally got around to mounting them. Shes super excited about how looks, and someone how is okay with the MT sound. Not my style, but not my car.

I am a sucker for gold wheels. I think it looks excellent!

Here's my take: IMG_8412.jpg

^^^EXACTLY what I've always said!! [twothumb]

At the very least, it should have been offered as an option, which I would have GLADLY paid up to $2K for, unlike the Recaro option. [wink] [doorpeek]

Yeah, I WISH that gold painted Speedline Corse wheels were available on THIS side of the pond for OUR rides (or at least for less than $400. 00 per wheel!!) [mad] [:(]
