With the upcoming 6 month ownership of my Fiesta I decided it was about time to add a project thread here as well :)

About myself
My name is Jeremy and I'm from a small european country called Belgium (yes indeed, where the waffles come from). About 3 years ago I finally got interested a bit in cars when I bought my Fiesta Mk7 1.6 TDCI. After owning it for about 2 years I decided it was time for some more power and went looking around for a replacement. After looking into a lot of options I got stuck between either a second hand Golf Mk6 R and new Fiesta ST. In the end I decided to go for the Golf, however after owning it for a few months I quickly started to dislike it. Due to the 4WD it was very heavy which made it 'slow' compared to lighter less powered cars however it was still having pretty hefty running costs such as insurance, MPG, tires etc. Since it's my daily driver this was something to keep in mind. Due to the weight and 4WD I also found it wasnt as playfull as I hoped and was only fun to drive at high speeds. I didn't forget about the ST as I still had some friends in the Ford scene thus arranged to have a drive in a Fiesta ST. I immediately fell in love with it's playfull character ! Long story short, I owned a brand new 2015 Fiesta ST a few days later :).

Now onto the subject of the thread, my ST :)
It's a 2015 Race Red Fiesta ST with pretty much all of the options available in the EU except for keyless entry.
I would have killed to get a sunroof however this is not available in EU spec Fiestas :(.

In less than a week the first mods were already being installed. (as a matter of fact, they were already ordered before having the keys of my ST).
To allow the car to breath a bit better and having that awesome blow off sound enhanced the car was fitted with an Auto-specialists stage 2 induction kit along with a Triple R splitter for it's looks.







After about it's first 2 weeks the car already achieved it's 'breaking-in period' (2500km/1500miles) and I decided it was time for a little trip to "the ardennes". Couldn't refuse making a cheeky little picture with it's big brother I came across along the way.


When the car was about 2 and a half months it's first serious performance upgrade was installed, stage 1 software by Revo Technik. Along with the already installed air intake it made a nice 220 PS and 330 Nm (240 lb ft) at the wheels.



A short while later I was lucky enough to pick up a Milltek Non-resonated race exhaust for a fair price. Ever since I heard a ST with milltek non resonated exhaust for the first time I immediately loved it and new I had to have it.

This was later also updated with some black exhaust tips




After also installing a silicone induction pipe I decided to see if these changes made any difference in power when a local dynoday occured.



The car was now running 230 PS and 350 Nm (+- 260 Lb Ft) at the wheels!

The latest two updates which were installed are two that massively increased the handling of the car !

First I've installed a Breedt Engine mount.



I can NOT praise this mod enough ! Especially for the low price it costs!
It totally changes the behavior of the car, both the accelerations and gear shifts are much smoother ! If I were to start over this would be the very first mod I'd install.

The car was also installed with a set of Billstein B14 coilovers. This was a mod which was installed for both the handling and the looks.


Imo it's now even a bit more comfortable than the stock suspensions while having a bit better handling.



That's all for now :) My next update is also a big one and is currently being shipped to Belgium from the UK !

Today the car received it's after-winter detail :) Completely polished, sealed and waxed. First time I machine polished a car. I got to borrow the DA polisher from a friend after he showed me a panel and gave some advice. After that he sat back and just enjoyed seeing other people work [whip]


Have to say i'm pretty satisfied with the result, not too bad for a non metallic paint.





On monday my next big update should arrive ! [:D]

I have to come over for polishing my Car, looks excelent! I dont have any Experience with this kind of work :/
I didn't have any experience with polishing either ! Only clayed and waxed in the past. It's not that hard though, there are a lot of good tutorials out there on youtube, for example Ammo NYC (USA) and Osren (Malaysian). When using a Dual action polisher instead of a rotary polisher there's not much you can do wrong. It's a matter of taking the plunge :D I was a bit scared to do it as well as I didn't want to ruin my paint. I was lucky enough to have a good friend who is working at a detailing company who just showed me a panel and then just gave me some pointers etc while I was polishing.

Will probably be buying my own polisher soon, I got the taste for it now :D

On monday the new wheels have arrived. After having a wax applied they are currently installed on the car ! Have to say I absolutely love them. Now that the wheels are fitted I can finish of the rest of the fitment. Car will probably be going a little lower, especially at the back, and some small spacers could be used. They're XXR 527's in the new fitment. 4X108, 7.5J and ET40.

Thank you so much for the dyno chart, now I know how much power my Revo Stage 1 is running. I'm curious, is the dyno result measured at the wheels or is it corrected to flywheel power?

It's corrected to flywheel power. Not sure what the power at the wheels would be.
The power can be depending on your engine as well though, a lot of people with Revo are running 215-225 PS as well, I was lucky enough to get a high result :D

Thank you for that response, at least now I know what kind of power curve I can expect from Revo's reflash. Apparently, I've been shifting too early :p
