MFT Navigation SD Card ROOT FILE NOT FOUND

I recently had my FiST broken into. The thief took all my belongings, including the SD card in the center console for the Navigation System. I've tried downloading the software and updates onto a new SD card. I got the update files onto the card, but when I put the card into the car and try to update the Nav System, a message appears on the screen with "Root File not found."

I went to the ford dealership in Tracy, CA and they have 6 new Navigation SD cards in stock for $133 each.

It sounds like Ford installs a file on the card in addition to the maps to prevent copying the maps.
