Hey guys I've had a vibra technics top mount fitted and since it was fitted I get this faint rattle/knock noise which sounds to me like its the internal engine components doing there thing its so weird. Basically when I apply pressure to the accelerator as the speed increases so does this noise and its only between 2.5 - 3k rpms no noise at all on idle when I rev the car up to the RPM it makes this noise on cant get my head around what it could be beside this mount I've started to convince myself I got a bearing or rod knock ๐Ÿ˜† i have heard that uprated engine mounts can make the car sound and feel different and that you can hear the engine working more due to stiffness etc?

So I have changed all 3 mounts on my fiesta to the vibra ones, engine slop is gone, but the car did feel like a popcorn machine at first, but soon settled in afterwards. I still get a bit of vibration though, but that is due to the stiffer mounts carrying the engine vibration throughout the car - which causes things to rattle from time to time. I had a noise between a certain range on the revs as well but that was from under my dash. Chances are, you are hearing something similar - but as a precaution, please have a look at the mount itself, I have heard of and watched instances on youtube where the locking bolt between the two halves of a mount came loose and the mount almost gave way. So just get that checked up and make sure it is tight.

If you feel as though it is something else, try getting it on camera and post it here.
