Hello everyone,

I just ordered my Molten Orange Fiesta ST, with the orange recaros, sunroof, etc (-Almost- fully loaded; is the only option I can get in here), My dealer said that I should have it by mid-November or before and I'm super excited! hahaha
(Envy Green and Performance Blue used to be my favorite colors.... but hate the fact that they are not available for 2016 anymore [?|] )

My friends call me "Tedd", I'm from Hermosillo, M?xico and I work at Hermosillo Stamping and Assembly (Yes... I see a lot of Fusions and MKZ's on a daily basis)

Btw it seems that I will be one of the only two Fiesta ST in my city (The other one is a German 2 Door MKVI I wanted to buy two years ago :/)

Welcome and congrats. Any plans for it?
No plans yet but in the next 6 monts I will try too get the MP215 Package only if it doesn't void my warranty (I don't know if the warranty thing works in M?xico too, I really hope so). I used to drive a Fiesta SE 2012 and I know by fact that I should keep my warranty available hahaha

So... last monday my dealer told my that my order was not placed yet because of some misunderstandings. After what happened I had second thoughts about the FiST and decided to order a FoST instead.

However. my dealer doesn't know how to submit a 2016 build....... so I will have to wait after I changed my mind. The dealer guy sent some emails (including the regional manager) because he didn't know how to do it. He offered me a 2015 instead, I said ?YES! (because I didn't want to wait) but he found out that there were no 2015 in stock in any Mexican dealer...... so I will have to wait then.

Good News: As far as I know Job1 for 2016 Focus is next monday.

Hope you've test driven both! ;)
Actually I've test driven neither[8].... in M?xico you can't have that unless you live in a "big/important city". Also the FoST/FiST are available only for "Special Order" because the dealers don't want to have those units on stock.

It sucks!

I didn't test drive my FiST either, shouldnt be too big of a deal, but then again, sounds like your going back and forth between the two. I prefer the FiST, cheaper and more nimble. Good luck and welcome.

Maybe you're right..... My heart says "Fiesta", my mind says "Focus" (Pun intended)

I would prefer the Fiesta too.... but I owned a Fiesta por 3 years, I loved it so much (even with the powershift issues) maybe I would want something different now..... meh forget I said this, the Fiesta is different enough hahahaa, the real deal is that my father said that if I buy the Focus instead, he would loan me some money with 0% of interest for 48monts (1/4 of the price of the FoST) and that's a big deal because the credit I got for the car is over 14% [bash]

Both are awesome and you can't go wrong with either one. I think you can guess what the preference is on this side of the fence though.

It's my favorite too but the fact that the 2016 will be the last US Spec Fiesta ST makes me feel uneasy (and more because the warranty/support we got in Mexico is awful). I would be pissed if I have the Fiesta and 1 year later the one offered is a 2door EuroSpec imported from Cologne (I love 2 doors).

I must admit to preferring the 4 door variants over the 2 door variants, glad I got mine while they lasted! Hopefully that means the RHD Projector Headlights for the German FiST's become way cheaper too (if they are importing the 2dr variant from Cologne in 2017, that is).
