Oil pressure/temperature guage

Hello, was just wondering if it was worth installing an aftermarket oil pressure/temperature guage?

As the car does not have either. Would this be worth the investment? I have the fear of my engine overheating lol

Thanks for any feedback.

I would personally be more worried about the coolant temperature... you could purchase a COBB accessport and use that to monitor certain temperatures and variables, including coolant temperature. You can use that without modifying the car to fit an "aftermarket gauge"

Iv upgraded the radiator (airtech), the thermostat (motorad) and replaced the temperature sensor.

Was just wondering if the oil pressure/temperature are worth monitoring. I will be installing a new oil pressure switch. Just wanted to know if its worth adding the guage.

Peace of mind is worth a lot, however a oil temp gauge isn't really needed on our engines... The filter is attached to a cooling block and has lines that exchange temp with the coolant. If oil temps start climbing, so will coolant so that track that🤷🏼‍♂️
