That is correct. Drove the car off the lot yesterday. Been having a blast ever since.

Actually rained earlier here in TX and got to test her out on wet pavement. To be honest, didn't feel a change.

Moon-roof, Navigation and Rado-Wheels

Burned two tanks of gas driving to five different dealers so they could compete against one another. Only had one honest dealer that had said they could beat that price if they had one on the lot. But they would be losing $1100 if they got one from another dealer. This dealer said they lost $100 but I don't know who to trust.

I actually had a better deal with the other ST with recaros. Think it would of been something like $22460 I think. But by the time I got back to the dealer, they had a race red in the back. Test drove it and figured I would save some money. Also helped to bring down monthly payments under $250.

Invoice Price: $20,598 + $335(Rado Wheels) + $710(Navigation) + $710(Moonroof) = $22,353

$22,353 - $20,980 = $1,373 Discount

Was this including the Cash Bonus or did you do the 0% financing? If you did the 0% financing then you got a great deal, but I wouldn't say the dealer lost any money though.

Let's see. $1000 Ecoboost, $500 Student and $500 Ford Credit.

Financed through Ford for the $500 Ford Credit. Slightly higher APR but brought payments below the $250 mark. $7500 down.

All that I could find, yes. The ST is replacing a car I lost the week prior in an accident. I was driving a 2010 Honda Fit Sport. Nothing special, but it had huge sentimental value as I was one of the few who saved their money during our deployment to Iraq.

Immediately, starting looking at cars that I could afford. Knew Honda as very reliable growing up so went back to their site to check on prices. Kept searching until I ran into the Ford website. Didn't even know there was a Fiesta ST until I searched for hatchbacks at one of the dealer's inventory. Started researching the hell out of the car. Liked everything I read, heard, saw and felt.

Oh, and when I filled up my first tank earlier today, the family next to me came up and said "Nice Car!" Never been on the receiving end of that statement and damn does it feel good.

Back to the reason why I think Ford sucks at marketing the FiST.

Could be. From what I understand, it is still a relatively new car here in the states. The most marketing I see is with my own to eyes while driving or walking to class.

I completely missed that Ford had a Boss Mustang. Just haven't seen one around. Although, every 1/10 people around here seem to have a mustang.

Let's see: ex-military, formerly driving 2010 Honda Fit Sport, now in Race Red FiST. Yep, that's me. Er, wait--really? From a 2010 Fit Sport to a RR FiST? If it turns out the Fit you had was Sapphire Blue, then it's gonna get kinda spooky. And if you--oh, never mind . . . that's just not possible.

Seriously, though, welcome, congrats, etc. I'm a wee bit older, I think. (I just got my first-ever senior discount at Dunkin' Donuts the other day, so, student discount?--er, not lately!) But you've got great taste in vehicles!

Thanks Perry!

I can't bash on the Honda Fit Sport. It made a great economy car. Even had one of the few stick shifts when I bought it.

Which begs the question, am I the only one who gets extremely bored driving an automatic? I haven't driven anything with real horsepower that was an automatic, but all the rentals over the years were just boring.

Also, the Fit was black. Wanted a white one at the time, but got a great deal on that one.

Thanks all. Tint put on this afternoon. Can't roll down windows for a couple days. Slightly saddened by that as the weather is just right for windows down.
