hi,
I've got an ST Edition that has a maxton Rear Spoiler extension and a TRC bodykit. I love the gloss black against the Azure Blue - and these plastic bits let it down.
Does anyone know how to remove these? Are they stuck on or stuck and bolted on? I have purchased these from CEUK - Fiesta MK8/MK8.5 Rear Window Panel Covers – Gloss Black | CEUK – Car Enhancements UK - but I cannot get the passenger side to cover the top of the plastic completely. CEUK said there are variations from the factory and mine are probably sat slightly out so their mold doesnt fit to my car.
I thought the best thing to do would be to get a bodyshop to take these off the car and sand, smooth, spray gloss black and refit - but just guaging how hard this would be vs cost and effort. It also occured to be to get another set of the CEUK covers and modify them, but if I mess this up thats £60 down the drain.
Any help / thoughts / advice greatly recieved. Car in pic obviously not mine, just used for illustration of the parts I'm talking about.
Cheers,
