Resonator delete w/ muffler swap?

How restrictive is the factory muffler? I'm thinking of doing a resonator delete at a local muffler shop, but I also have a Greedy Evo2 2.5" muffler sitting at home.

These tend to be "quiet" mufflers and work great on N/A cars. Anyone know if the EVO2 is more restrictive that the OEM muffler?

Nobody? Im not doing a CBE until way later. I think a tune then upgraded IC is next.

So swapping to another muffler is unnecessary? I'd like to use my greddy piece... I figure it would sound sweet straight piped.
