Just ordered a lathe werks 2.1 inch copolymer shift knob, does this need a reverse lockout adapter or is it plug and play with stock setup?

No reverse lockout adapter required with the Lathe Werks knob....The knob seats perfectly on stock setup and having been through a few different knobs already I'm extremely pleased with LW's...

I didn't like them either as they don't cup the ball correctly.
So, I made my own.

Just as an FYI the new balls from CJ Pony have flat bottom where the thread is removing the gap between the knob and the lock out adapter that you have shown.

Blox Racing Spherical 490 shift knob and torque solutions adapter. Love this set up, raised the knob an inch or a bit more.

Perfect in the hand and shifts are a tad bit smoother.

EDIT: Also the Blox adapter does not work, its too thick and wont fit into the collar. Im using the Torque Solutions one and it works perfect.
