I received mine on Monday. Looks great, I'll post a pic eventually. I have a '15 that left Mexico in November of '14. Build no. 3405. I bought it in March of '15. As for mounting location, I wanted to go in front of the shifter boot like most but I have a piece of trim that goes around mine similar to the euro spec cars. So it takes up a little more space and just made everything look a little crowded so after searching for a new spot I decided to go on the dash behind (seated view) the nav screen plastic shell. So it faces outward through the windshield. Wasn't too sure about it but it ended up looking pretty sharp I thought and gives that big blank fiesta dash some love.

Mine came in today. Number 3006 left the factory August 29 2014. He does this for both the FoST and RS groups. I know some in those groups have verified his work and they check out. I have no reason to doubt him otherwise he would have a lot of people after him. Just wish I had a little more information as to the total number of 2015s.

Where did you get that?
Found a place in the UK that does them. You can pick the colors, fonts, and whatever you want it to say. You can go as far as to upload custom images if you like. They do Ford emblem shapes for the outside, center caps for wheels and even Gel badges with build numbers. Took a month to get here, but I was in no rush.

Yeah they really do. Reminds me of the number plate from a 20th anniversary VW GTI

Looking forward to receiving it!

For what it's worth, I researched awhile back on when my car left the plant. I can't remember what the website was... but it was posted here somewhere. Bernard's information lines up with that exactly so I am thinking it's legit.

I asked him where he got his info. He promptly replied this:

The data are basically from a barcode reading at the end of the production line and - only for Focus ST and Fiesta ST - a macro that is connecting this data with export-import data of the various countries

we do this for our german websites for more than 6 years

...and then linked to a few sites with a thread like this one.

Cool looks good tell me about that shift knob, where and how much and how do you like it?
I got it from a Ford parts seller on eBay, it comes in the Focus STs with the carbon trim package as well as some Mustangs. It looks really nice, it's slightly larger than stock and it's a bit heavier. It fits better in my hands than the stock knob did. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

Got my two today. Extra $20 for the second in a different colour why not. Now which one and where to put it. Chap was nice and very communicative of the process and the options I had.
