Tilt-Adjustable Headrests? (BASE Seats, NON Recaro)

I went and looked at a 2014 Fiesta ST at Carmax the other day and really was surprised to see that the headrests were tilt adjustable. What this means is that you could tilt them forward and they'd "click" lock into place at 10+ different adjustments, if you pull them forward all the way they'll unlock and reset back to standard tilt. A lot of new cars have this (such as the 2013+ Mustang, some Subarus, and others)

I bought my 2016 last night and discovered the headrests do not tilt. Was this something that was taken out of the newer Fiestas that I could find online from a parts website, or is this a common swap with another vehicle's headrests anyone knows of? I did a lot of searching and couldn't find anything! [?|]

Again, as in the title note that these are BASE seats and not the recaros.

My wife has a later year '16 and I have an early '16. Both cars have the adjustment you describe.

Edit: Both cars have regular seats.

So weird... Mine was built 11/03/2016, the sales guy didn't know for sure about the feature. I might have to call Ford customer service or something. These are SO useful being tall and make me feel like I'm not sitting in the back of the car.

All non-recaro equipped Fiestas should have them from '13+.

Thanks for the tip. I called ford corporate and they confirmed this as well, I spoke to the dealer's sales manager and he said he'd get back to me in a bit. This issue is so odd but those headrests are 110% for sure not tilt adjustable. Worst case scenario I can go to a pick your part junkyard and pull some off a 2015 fiesta but I hope they can make this right... I understand mistakes happen but this is certainly one of the more odd ones.

So one more update, because I'm sure this will happen to someone else. My salesguy just ran through every single FiST on their lot (they have 10 or more) and ALL base seat 2016s have headrests that do not tilt... at all. Ford must have changed something. This is a high volume dealer so I'd assume all of their lot cars have build dates similar or later than mine (Nov '16)

The car I bought the last day of December has base seats and the headrests do not tilt.

Mine was built in early September of '16, and unless I am doing something wrong (??) my base model seat headrests do NOT move at all, tilt angle wise.

Do those with non-tilting non-recaro front seats, do your rear seat headrests fold down?

Rear headrests do fold down, yes. I managed to visit a junk yard today after discovering they had a 2015 Fiesta sedan on the yard and pulled its headrests. $18 total for the pair later, and here's my discovery. They do not adjust either but the pictures should explain themselves better than I could. The fit is perfect, just like original but more tilt. Only downside is there is no white edge stitching, but otherwise the quality is the same and you wouldn't notice a difference when it is installed.
