Upgraded engine mounts yay or nay and also springs versus coilovers?

Hey guys
Just looking for some advice,is it worth upgraded the standard st engine mounts? Also in considering lowering my st2 for a little better handling,which would be better coilovers or springs???

Rear motor mount is insisted. I’m not sure the aftermarket suspensions ‘handle better’ they’re different for sure but the car is an animal to start so it’d be best to define the thing you wish to improve. Not every change is an improvement

As I understand it, coilovers (even fancy ones like BC or FA500s) ride worse than original type suspension or even new shocks/struts with lowering springs. a sweet spot for these cars seems to be (and mostly because my friend has done it to two of his cars) swift springs & bilstein b6 shocks/struts. OEM mounts and other OEM hardware of course.
rear motor mount is a necessity, and it's best to look at something still with rubber, just smaller like the vibra-technics RMM.

Thanks guys for the help,my car is a little bouncy under acceleration so maybe I've an issue somewhere on the suspension,I've seen the issue with the gearbox mount that seems to be made out of chocolate so that's my first one to replace. I was just curious to see isnit necessary to upgrade them all while I'm at it. Thanks you guys for the help

Check your rear tire pressures as well. They should be a few psi lower than the fronts. When theyre equal can make your ride feel bouncy. Just a quick, cheap thing to check.

Thanks guys,I've decided to upgrade the rear gearbox mount when I have some money and I've ordered 30mm lowering springs
