Hello all! Trying to figure out what this rattle is. Finally narrowed it down to something to do with the valve cover and the hose that connects from the intake manifold to the valve cover. I have an oil catch can there on my car. Anyways, this rattle is there when the hose is connected. When I had the idea of starting the car with this hose disconnected on the valve cover end the rattle went away. As soon as I connect the hose to the valve cover, the rattle is there. Any ideas what can be causing that rattle?

Does that hose have an in-line check valve in it??
If so, maybe that is defective?![[dunno]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_dunno.gif "Dunno [dunno]")
