What would you replace your Fiesta ST with?

Now that our cars have been discontinued (here in the US at least), what would you replace the FiST with. It seems like the spiritual successor may be the Veloster N which seems like a really fun car but with the current market prices it seems a bit pricey. I'm curious to see what everyone has in mind if they had to trade their ride in tomorrow!

86
Veloster N
Elantra N
Kona N
Kona AWD
Forte GT
Another Fiesta ST

In no particular order. More or less I don't think I would ever finance anything above $35k. Not worth it to me.

I really wish Ford had offered the new Fiesta ST in the US. It's disappointing to me to know that if something happens to my car and it can't be fixed that I can't replace it with a new one.
To replace it, I would be looking for a fun to drive car with a manual transmission, and the candidates would be-
Hyundai Veloster or Elantra N
Subaru BRZ or the 86 version of it
Mazda Miata
Nissan 400Z
Maybe a Porsche Cayman or 718 or whatever it's called now

My short list: Another mk7 FiST, a mk8 FiST if Ford ever gets off of the SUV kick. Possibly a Kona N but more likely a used, older Porsche Boxster or Cayman. Or another Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII or IX.

1. Another Fiesta ST
2. Veloster, Yaris GR, or GR86 if I could afford them
3. If I had to go cheap, a focus SVT or a manual non-ST fiesta with upgraded suspension to make it handle like the ST

Ideally, I'll just keep my current fiesta ST forever!

I was planning to rock the FiST for say another 5 years. With the lack of new fun cars and price increases, I think it will be longer. The eventual replacement might be an 86 or GR Corolla.

Aren't the 3 pot fiesta's the mk 8s that Ford won't let us have? Or did they make a 3 cylinder mk7?
They made a 1 liter 3 banger 5 speed MK7 the EcoBoost Fiesta.. It was literally like the ultimate base model . With skinny gas saver tires it got like 40 miles to the gallon. I test drove one and almost bought a low mileage one for like 7k. They came out before the FiST a lot of the people that actually bought them were enthusiasts and the minute the FiST hit they bought FiST’s.

Ah ok. Didn't know that. That actually sounds like a fun little car.

My plan is to augment my FiST with a ND2 Miata, but if I had to replace it? Reasonable list would be R53 Mini Cooper S, new GR86, Veloster N, Volvo C30 R design, Dodge Caliber SRT4, Fiat 500 Abarth, or an EK hatch.
Unreasonable list would be Chevy SS, Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, C6 Vette ZR1, or a Porsche Boxster GTS 4.0

Current prices have made my decision. New tranny and another (almost) 100K miles of fun before I have to submit to some battery-powered SUV thing. Several grand for replacement parts is now cheap!
