Finished up my install of the gtx turbo and cpe intake. Loaded freektune base map and fired it up. All seems well :) No time to drive it till tomorrow.
How long did it take you to install it ? It's not something I can do but eventually I will go this route.

I took my time and did it over the course of a week (small bits daily). Fortunately my daily driver is a bicycle [emoji1]

Installed Denso ITV22 spark plugs. Easy install. Smoothed out the idle & feels a little more responsive. At 3000 miles I will pull the plugs & check for fouling.

Well I got my shift boot in the mail, although I don't know if I should pitch a fit about it or not. Advice? Or maybe a way I can salvage it a bit?

Well I can get it to fit in the car with no issues, my issue is the stitching not running all the way to the top on the right side. If it was facing toward the front of the car and I didn't have to see it, I wouldn't care as much.

Where did you get it?

Yeah the reverse lock-out collar won't let me go any further than that. Without cutting it, I really can't see a way around it.

Edit: So I emailed them, and this is the response.

"Hello!

that is normal. Since the boot you have ordered is tight on top, the sewing machine won't go all the way in - it's header has a certain size and it just won't get anywhere.

This is NORMAL with the kind of boot that you have.

Please just try to install it so that the shorter stitched edge faces the FRONT of the car. This way you will not be able to see it while you're in the driver's or passengers seat and it'll look perfect."

The shift boot doesn't quite go around that way...well this was my feeler for the rest of their products, not looking very good so far.

Wow that's a little rough. Maybe get a needle and thread out and do the rest by hand? I doubt it will look perfect though. That's what they should have done with the same stitch.

Yeah that's a few hundred bucks they'll be out (not that it matters), that i'll spend on a local shop to make the items for me instead. Oh well.

Depending on how much you use fogs it will burn a nice hole right in the center of that vinhl.
I never had them burn a hole but they did turn brown.

The problem is that the bulb is too close to the lenses.
I suggest that you change from a 55W to a 35W bulb.
Or not use the film at all and change to a 2500K (yellow) blub.
