Just got some Sparco Pro Corsa 17x7.5 put on. OEM tires. The Satin finish is a little different to get used to after the gloss black rado's but it's growing on me!

Nice!

Are you going to move up to one of the great, available 215/40-17s when those reach the cords?

Are you going to try and sell the stockers, or hold onto them?

I might go to a 215, with the wider wheel and offset these are already close to the fender.

I'm probably going to find some winter rubber for the stock wheels. I was going to use the stocks for summer and buy some cheap winter wheels, but i got these at too good a price.

I hear you on that.

I ordered mine with the all season option, but the ONLY tire I could find in our exact OEM size is the General G Max AS-03, so I'm guessing that's what will be on the rados??
I was going to try and get through this winter on these, and then buy a set of Sparco Asseto Garas in a 15" size, and put Nokian R2s/WRG2s on them for a long term winter set up.[;)]

I might then try to sell the factory combo since I plan on doing either TD Pro 1.2s or 6uls with a very sticky tire on them for summer use.

Doesn't seem like many places have the OEM size in winters. Figure they might stock more as we get closer to winter. Tirerack has a crazy sale on Pirelli's right now but I guess i'm in the wrong zip code to get any, however that works.

Post Your Wheels

So I got my ST roughly 3 weeks ago and I'm looking into getting new wheels but I can't decided what would look best. I have a '14 Tuxedo Black FiST, so show off your wheels so I can get ideas, Thanks!

Kosei K5R's on stock suspension, no wheel spacers, and stock option all season tires (don't ask me why I have these tires in California lol):

Just to note, their was rusting on the wheel hubs behind the stock wheels. I'm going to be hitting the wheel hubs with some matte black plastidip to cover it up a little later since these wheels don't have any wheel cap options.

Got them from TireRack while they were on clearance. I ended up buying 5 just in case something happens to one of them.

Edit:

Close up photo of how the wheel hubs turned out after using plastidip to color them black.

Looked. Guess they are sold out.
Yea, when I contacted them a few weeks back the wheels were already on clearance. I spoke to them via the livechat on the website and they said that they were not going to be getting anymore and only had a few sets left.

^^^THAT looks better yet!! [twothumb]

Fills the wheel wells more, and less rubber band profile. :)
Thanks and they're 4lbs lighter per wheel. I'm happy with them for now till I get my 949 racing 6ul wheels. Got them from nlmotoring.com if you're interested.
