Took the time to address the coolant leak from these plugs on the S280, the top one was pretty loose and tightened quite a bit. The bottom one I was able to get with a bit and a socketing wrench a week ago, but the top one was also leaking which meant the turbo had to be unbolted to get enough room. Seemed the crush washers weren’t torqued enough. I should have checked them before install but since I thought they were pre installed they should have been good to go. Anyone who plans on getting a S280 I’d double check the torque to make sure yours doesn’t leak. Took it out for a drive and bone dry. Will check in a few days to verify the leak is gone.

My clutch slave cylinder is starting to go out, so as a "while you're in there" mod I bought this on Friday. I can't wait to get it installed!

I'm having the Whoosh V1 intercooler I bought a couple months ago installed at the same time, so when I get the car back it's gonna be a completely different machine! The master cylinder, clutch, and flywheel will all be replaced as well.

Already got 150 miles on the RTS clutch and it feels like money with the Coolerwerx shifter. still have some miles to put on it before I can go full send on it. Also identified and fixed a possible cause of the surgine I have been dealing with. Map sensor wires were rubbing on the transmission thanks to the whoosh pipes having less then ideal fitment with the Koyo radiator. Had a local Fiesta nut help with clearencing the pipes to address that issue. Thankfully the wires hadn't rubbed all the way through on the map sensor.

I've had to adjust the side to side stops a few times but other then that the shifter has been money for me. I got mine after Coolerwerx started building them with upgraded linkage.

Feeling out if I want to go for that B.A.D. rear seat delete kit and half-prepping to do a Bluetooth ethanol sensor install.

The car feels great with a little less weight in the back. Feels like it rotates a little more linearly. Also pops are sounding extra crisp now. Fun experiment for sure. For anyone else wanting to do the same, don’t forget about the plastic pop clips holding the plastic trim to the rear seat brackets. I was so confused as to what was stuck.

So somehow this fell off my wheels, miraculously it fell off ten feet from where I parked. Any suggestions what kind of glue to use to reattach it, but permanently this time?

Letting my wife use my FiST while her R53 Mini waits on a new CV axle, brakes and oil change. Can't wait to have my FiST back and her Mini back on the road(I love driving both cars) what aural pleasures do I want today? Supercharger whine and intake noises with popping loud exhaust or turbo noises and a more under the radar exhaust(factory) and some slight intake noise? First world problems lol.

3M VHB tape. Make sure you clean the two surfaces really well with alcohol, and if you want a really good bond, scuff the bonding surfaces with scotchbrite before cleaning.

Does anyone know what the outer diameter of the fuel funnel that should have come with the car is? I didn’t get one, and apparently my funnel is too skinny to unlock the filler lock plate. All I wanna do is run some seafoam through it and figure I could 3d print an adaptor to make it work.
