Anyway. update.
WHAT IS LINKED ABOVE IS ***NOT*** THE CORRECT TANK TO REPLACE THE RECALL RESERVOIR
https://www.ford.com/product/radiator-overflow-tank-p4000033253
It lacks the ports for the level sensor on the recalled cars. I tried using it, leaving the harness dangling and unconnected to the sensor, because at least it had the correct hose ports for the radiator (a polygonal reservoir needs a different, old/new hoses—recall egg has two total, old/new has three). But without the sensor the car goes into limp mode apparently, even before the ect reads operating temp.
TL;DR. No one (in my internet searching) found the 1:1 replacement for the recall egg shaped reservoir. The only option I see if you want to do it yourself is to replace with old/new polygonal reservoir requiring new hoses and figuring out how to bypass the ecu programming the recall put in for the sensor.
This is the tank that's linked, it lacks the upper and lower ports that loop in the level sensor of the recall.
And this is the original recall tank, notice there are ports on the top and bottom to allow the level sensor.
