I gapped and installed some step colder spark plugs, also cleaned the neg terminal on my battery as it had some corrosion forming. You have to start early out here in Arizona, its going to be too hot to do anything here pretty soon.
While waiting for a shop slot to open up to take a look at my limping fiesta I 3d printed a spacer to help my chinesium carbon fiber shift knob (no I'm not spending triple for the OE one) sit with the H pattern facing the correct way. Way better than the Mustang Cue Ball shifter that came on the car!
New tires are on, RE71RS 205/50r15. They are downsized from the RT660s I ran last time which were 225/45r15. They should be able to hold most of the power with the diff, but I'm still expecting some wheel spin if I apply way to much in 2nd. Went less wide this time to try and see how it helps with response. If they just don't work out I'll probably just start looking at going flares so I can fit something much meatier.
New here but loving my fiesta so far. So much so I sprung for a set of set of 215/45r16 660+'s on 16x8's to replace the snow tires and rims I just sprung for in February when I got the car.
New to me shift knob I picked up from @Feisty Fiesta. My old one had a big ugly worn spot on the pleather.
Also chasing EVAP codes AGAIN. P1450 and P144A-C, but not at the same time. I literally just replaced the purge valve last month and the canister valve late last year. Should I shell out for a whole hose assembly next? I did cut the old purge valve out and used fuel tubing and clamps to fit the replacement. Could it be leaking? Duralast purge valve failed already?
