Hey everyone, just picked up this 2015 "stripper" model this week. Took delivery with 23 miles on it and after rebates and negotiations, got it for $19,250 + ttl. I think I did alright.
It represents a lot of firsts for me: first fwd car, first new car, first FI car, and my first Ford. I had to make Sophie's Choice and decide whether to sell my Camaro SS, 72 C10, or Ducati Hypermotard since living in Chicago and owning 4 modes of transportation would be, according to my wife, "unreasonable"
So the Camaro went bye-bye. It had quite a few mods - bolt ons, dyno tune, upgraded T56, Moser 9" etc etc and it was a lot of fun. But man-o-man I like this little marshmallow. The Camaro had too much power and built up speed too fast to have fun around the city, but like baby bear's porridge this ST is juust right.
Meeting the family...
I was active on the LS forums for the last 10 years, so I'm looking forward to hanging around here and learning a thing or two along the way. If anyone is in the Chicago-land area and wants to do an autocross or track day let me know! I'm down.
