Ironically, I don't like loud exhaust, lol. I think its because it muffles the turbo noise a bit :)

Building the harness now :)

Just for kicks... Tell me I'm not the only one who has ever thought of this for the drag strip only, lol.

that is EXACTLY what I will be doing. ok so 4 wires, that's easy. I have wire at the shop and 3m tape and wire loom. done deal. screw that $50 item. if I go back to stock I can tie up the extra length lol

Lol, can't say that I ever thought of doing that. I'm intrigued nonetheless.

JPGC. It didn't work great,
Lol.
I've thought of trying that since I got car, but since the maf plug would not reach, it seemed silly to try. But now.... Its long enough, and.... Its still not perfect, lol. Still neat, but I gave up since I already have a solution :)

I know. I really wanted to go. I actually thought I was gonna be able to go ( weeks before ), but I miss calculated my 1 Saturday per month that I work.... So it was set on on the ONE SATURDAY that I work. Any Sunday, Any Saturday but that one... I'm sure we'll end up together at some meet at some point. Some times my post come off a little "serious" and I'm not really that serious about anything :)
Text has no context :)

... Primitive testing has shown the cobb tiny filter to be a restriction inside the box.
Link to results? Our intake design increases intake filter surface area by 63% over stock and, if it really means that much to you for your internationally designed and sourced car, our intake is made in the USA.

Not only the filter but any pipe that length is gonna be a problem. Why is plastic more than metal?

Why is the pipe length a problem? It's only marginally longer than stock and has smoother bends. Plastic is less resistant to heatsoak, but takes special manufacturing processes to make it right. Thats why most people can't do it ;)
