Hey Everyone. Thank you for the thread and the feedback in here. Been skimming through a few of the pages over the last day or two. As a few of you know, I was moving, then finishing my old job to officially tune full time (Ford/Mazda master tech at a dealership) Now that I am tuning full time, turn around times will be much much faster. Thank you to everyone for your patience, and looking forward to helping this platform grow!
Awesome that you are now tuning full time...welcome to the forum.

Welcome Justin. Bout time you got over here, lol. BTW the tune feels great. We just finished up the last of it this week. I have no complaints other than I need better tires.

I've been looking to do a few pulls with my final tune to do a Virtual Dyno plot on over the last few days, but it's been on and off raining. I will get it done soon. I want to log 2nd-4th to plot each gear. I am also waiting for another dyno day over here a Tuners Inc to get some real numbers. This way I can also compare the accuracy of the VD.

Just bought the FreekTune and will let everyone know whats up after im through with the process :)
I think you will be happy. The tune feels so much more refined...especially cruising around town at partial throttle. Don't get me wrong, the car feels much stronger at WOT as well, but for me, the drivability is most important.

It also helps to have nearby unpopulated areas to do the datalogs. It's a pain for me...to much traffic where I live and at night, the police are everywhere. I have to drive 20 mins out of my way to datalog, lol. It's worth it though.

I shouldn't have a problem data logging. (Fingers crossed) but I've heard good things from these guys!!

I know this is general info but, on the website it states
http://www.freektune.com/pages/pre-tuning-checks said:
All plugs should be checked, and gapped to .026-.028
But I thought for our 1.6 ecoboost the plug gap is .032????

Been a while since I updated this thread...I have my FREEKTUNE 93 octane (E10) and my E20 tune done and both feel great and perform great! Since installing the ECA, I have been preparing to get an E30 tune. The E20 isn't optimized for power, I have it for a safety net if needed between the E10 and E30 tune. I received my E30 tune today from Justin so I will been once again, lol, doing some datalogs! I will update as I go.

Did my first Freektune E30 datalogs today and emailed them to Justin, so I'm waiting on the updated tune. The base E30 tune felt good, but very similar to the tuned 93 E10...which is what it's based on plus adjustments to the stoich. Now awaiting the real fun :)

Got my first revision of the E30 tune from Justin today. Feels nice though I haven't data logged it yet. I think I'm going to have to start doing 4th gear logs soon as in 3rd the tires are holding on for dear life. It already breaks lose in 3rd when shifting from 2nd to 3rd.

I'd like to apologize ahead of time... Once you get all tuned up on E30, your not going to be able to go back, lol. You'll curse me everytime you drive a long distance to get E85 and you'll curse me when you load an old tune because your out of E85, lol. But then when you fill it back up with E30 and make those first couple pulls you'll say, "THANK YOU SOURSKITTLE FOR TALKING ME INTO THIS, and THANK YOU FREAKTUNE FOR TUNING THIS".

I remember when I certain (pro)tuner first started looking into ethanol tunes, he posted that the cars were not seeing much of a gain to justify it. Wow... I am so glad he was wrong. (I assume by now he's changed his mind).
