How long did it take for you to get your first revision back?
The first revision was 3 or 4 days. I think it's been 5 or 6 since I sent my last set of logs. He's not usually this slow but I know he's been slammed with moving lately. I would imagine we'll get something soon though.

Anyone running a Freaktune?

Okay, so I got my 1st revision tonight from Justin at Freektune....much better than the base map. I did catch one instance of -1 ignition timing correction between 5000 and 6000 rpm, but nothing bad like before. Also for the most part, all cylinders were matching this time. I didn't beat on it too much, just putting some miles on it before I datalog tomorrow when it's a little hotter to make sure that all is good and to sent a couple logs back to Justin. This tune feels soooo much better than the OTS Stg3 from idle all the way up while producing 3lbs less boost. Can't wait til we get to the final revisions.

I am, over here at Tuners Inc. his dyno seems pretty accurate as the numbers I put down with it in my Mustang match closely to the numbers I had put down previously in Minnesota with the same car. Plus he is a mile from me, lol

Sent my 2nd set of logs off of my first revision today!! I feel much better after the revision, good stuff. Only problem I had today was getting pulled over for making an illegal u-turn with a cop 2 cars behind me. Didn't see him til I turned around. Wasn't too smart of me, lol. Luckily he gave me a verbal warning. Cool cop.

Are you charged $ for each revision? Or does the $150 cover it all, I'm thinking about purchasing this tune myself.

You're only charged once for the whole session, regardless of how many revisions. If you add parts further on down the line and want him to touch up the tune it is $75.

Yep, $150 for the entire session as dyn085 said. Given that your not changing parts, etc as the tune is being optimized. According to his site, an e- tune from him usually takes about a month to complete...so however many revisions that is. Right now, it's a little slower because he has been moving or something. The revisions have been taking about 5-7 days each. Normally though, it should be a shorter time frame between revisions.

I loaded my 2nd revision today...this Freektune is definitely feeling better and better every time. I didn't do any logs tonight but drove it around town a little. I will get my logs tomorrow evening after I get 40 or so miles on it. I'm still seeing a little negative negative ignition timing throughout the cylinders but not as bad as before. I definitely can feel the difference in power or the way it makes power. I also tried out Justin's launch control, which is very cool as it is set to 3k rpm and builds about 3.5 lbs of boost. I didn't launch on it, just testing to make sure it works.

I may have to go back to to J-ville after you get your tune dialed in. I'm interested in the out come.

It's funny too cause I wasn't abusing it today, just half throttle or so. Even at that, half throttle in second gear it hit 13 psi and blew the tires off. It actually caught me off guard with the torque steer. I did punch it all the way down in 3rd to about 5k rpm twice. It was spinning some though the mid range. I like it. Also the launch control sounds like a launch control now...baaa ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba...lol

Went for a short drive with my 2nd revision loaded up today. So crisp and spunky compared to the OTS stage 3. Looking forward to logging again after putting on another 10 miles or so.

I reverted to the Stage 2 OTS tune after installing my FMIC and charge pipes and it didn't feel nearly as good as my FreekTune was before the FMIC when I only had a drop-in filter.
