Awesome updates the car looks amazing.

Tell me about the LSD on commute/everyday driving. Worth it or not?

Not worth it if your just using it for commuting. No more torque steer with my hybrid turbo, the real difference is being able to put the power down coming out of a corner. The car is glued to the road like I've never felt before.

Yeah man, Ronin is the best. He was a huge help with my LSD install.

^^^THIS is why I want one, YES, even for street driving on the factory snail/power. ;) [driving]
(NOT for straight line acceleration/drag race purposes!)

If you don't mind, explain the concept of your hybrid turbo.

I need to invest in one of these. I noticed coming out of a corner at my track day that it kept hesitating going WOT out of a corner.

A hybrid turbo is when you take a stock turbo housing and upgrade the internals of it. There's a few options on the market, I'm using a Pumaspeed X37. The X37 spools almost identical to stock but has much more top end power. On E30 fuel I'm around 280WHP.

That's your traction control / stability control cutting power. Turn that off and the car will get wheel spin and pull to the outside. With the LSD it just grips and shoots wherever you're pointing the car.

Oh it was fully off. You could tell one wheel was spinning.

Question: for the front's did you have to trim any metal (other than the fender)to fit the new 245/40/15 setup? I'm still getting rub on a bracket where I assume the crash bar goes to the apron. I also trimmed the one tab where the bumper meets the fender

No I did not, just cut the fender. What size tire are you running?

Running a 215/40/17 (technically a 225/40/17 as in runs a size larger) Maybe I'm just too low in the front

Planning to go to a 15x8 +20 with a 225/50/15

I run 245/35/17 for daily setup (same diameter as stock) and did experience very slight rub on the flares during track use. My new track setup is 245/40/15 with is an inch smaller in diameter and have absolutely no rub.
