disable auto play when plug in iphone

Anybody? did a quick search on but found nothing , can you disable auto play when you plug in your iphone to the USB for charging? I know if I plug it in before I turn on the car it won't auto play but that's it.

Sync 2 or 3?

Not sure if this will help but in mine I have a USB stick permanently connected. The other port when connecting a device does not auto play.

Sync 2 there is an option to disable autoplay connected devices in the sound settings. Sync 3 doesn't autoplay - well it doesn't on mine
