Here's a few pics of the fswerks cat-back I just had installed. Really nice packaging, instructions, fit etc.!

















He tacked a washer on this hanger just in front of the muffler to stop it from sliding right(passenger side direction)

Hi everyone.

Completed my exhaust system on Friday. I have been running with a CP-E catted down pipe for about the last month or so and yesterday my local exhaust shop custom made a 3 inch mandrel bend cat back system with resonator.
See the images and youtube sound clip.
Unfortunately I was unable to get any photos of the vehicle on the hoist so these were taken from the ground with the car on stands. My youtube clip is also a bit rough, I need a new camera.

Sounds damn good for a resonated...pretty loud but not annoying loud. Me likey.
Is it stainless? How much did it run you?

Rear muffler is stainless with stainless wool packing, the rest is aluminized steel. It is louder than I expected, I was a little worried it would be too quite with such a large resonator. There is not neck-down to 2.5 inch at the down pipe outlet, this could account for the extra noise.
Cost, $800. You can see why I didn't go stainless.

Just curious since you spent that much on a custom, why didnt you buy the 2jr all stainless catback for $100 cheaper?

Well the main reason is I would have to import the system from the US, about $150.00 probably more. I would also need to modify it to fit the CP-E down pipe and then theres the chance of damage during delivery.

Cp-E is apparently right down the street from me. I might have to do their downpipe and exhaust.

Whats your reason for coming back to a cat.
Im more than likely moving back to California, and they are insane about smog. Also I don't want to break the law anymore as I'm trying to be a cop, and they ask about stuff like this :(

I'm not worried about it passing or not (though I suspect if the car is running well it should have no problem)
I just don't want to say "yes I am knowingly breaking a federal law" the next time they ask haha
