Are you doing it for color or protection? For color you can just replace the bulbs, for protection get the yellow ones.

I did yellows last night.

Here's this pic for comparison between stock and with the yellow overlays.

I literally just bought the yellows. Those are much brighter than I thought! I was worried they wouldnt be as bright with the yellows, glad I didnt second guess myself.

Anyone knows where I can buy yellow overlays or yellow bulbs? Seems like HeadLight Armor doesn't ship to Canada

I just ordered the yellow Lamin-X from fswerks. Does the fog light need to be completely removed in order to put the cover over it?

You don't, just remove the surround cover.

By cover you mean the black plastic cover around it? And if that is the part, is that hard to take off?

Yeah there are tabs holding the cover in place, you can see them from the rear.

I did PIAA 2500k bulbs and the yellow Lamin-X as well.
I really did like the look but the yellow Lamin-X got hot and turned brown.
So I took the yellow Lamin-X off.
Still looks with just the 2500k bulbs.

That's what I was scared of, but the stock bulbs shouldn't burn them up, right?

And you have a 5 year warranty on the Lamin-x... So if you have stock bulbs and it burns, you should get refund. I ordered the yellow ones as well

The bulbs I am using are 55W, same as OE.
I just took off the Lamin-x and all is OK.
