RANT: summer tires only on 2k14 FiST

The stock tires are actual over priced for the price of the car and not the ultimate high performance tire by any means but pretty good.

The Michelin PS3 AS is nearly as high in performance but works in the cold and rain far better so it will provide more grip more of the time than a summer only tire. It is not a great snow tire but can get by in light snow OK, for those using their car in heavy snow regularly I would highly recommend real snow tires or at least Conti DWS

Some of us did not buy the car to be the absolute fastest it can be on summer only tires as we take our cars to the track which is the only place some of us want to see what it will really do. Autocross, road course, drag strip, rally cross, etc...and drive a bit more responsibly on the street thus not needing the summer only tires.

hey guys, I got the BFG's G-Force Super Sport A/S on tonite. they are def fatter than the potenza's were. I got up my sketchy steep driveway with no issue. I will get pics up of them. stock size, 205/40r17, but they look like a 215.

They feel cushy but assertive.

I live in the north too. Craigslist got me 4 wheels with snow tires --100 bucks. I love having performance tires as an OEM addition. Matter of fact when these wear out I will be replacing with an NT05 or rt615

Whats this driving responsible thing you speak of? I honestly have ZERO idea what you're talking about.
