I disagree. Throttle closures are a part of the OEM boost control architecture...a tuner should utilize this function in conjunction with WGDC to manage spool and boost logic. However, you shouldn't feel it. In other words, it's not a bad thing. Not only does it help spool, it also helps driveability. For some tuners it's something they'd rather not waste their time figuring out. A certain tuner (I don't feel like arguing) was schooled by a reverse control engineer not too long ago. Ultimately, it comes down to your car and it's configuration. In the case of brake boosting, if you ask for it, the tuner should be able to do it.
