Finally got my summer tires off (absurd, I know). I haven't driven the car since the temps have been consistently below 45F.

Went with a nice, meaty 205/55R16 at 25" tall (BFG Sport Comp 2 A/S Plus this time around).
Going by their tread pattern, the Comp 2 A/S Pluses seem like they would be one of the better UHP all seasons in this 'weather' we are getting here lately, than many of the others, maybe even including the Conti DWS 06. [thumb]

Yeah, I had the non-Plus version two years ago and they were pretty amazing in the rain for the first half of their life. The tread is super aggressive. I doubt I will drive the fiesta much until the salt is washed away but they should do well. Might do a road rally up north in March and wanted something that could handle a little bit of snow if needed without having to put the winters on (which handle terribly in the dry IMO).

Although it is not my RMM, I would like to share with the Forum and discuss , What are the main causes of this broken RMM?

I would say Repeatedly Dropping the clutch/ drag/ Dig racing. No mount can take that kind of abuse forever.

Why does it look burnt? Seriously yeah the bushing is ripped but it looks like it rolled down a mountain and caught on fire. I have the exact same rear motor mount.

Looks like it may have not been installed correctly. Maybe too much torque or not enough lube, or both. Could be that the bushing itself was defective. I'd replace the bushing and reinstall with the right torque and lots of lube, and if it happens again, I'd reduce the horsepower about 200 or so, or stop doing burnouts every time I take off.

New TB traction bar and threw my summer setup back on. Had to raise the ride height a bit to fit them. I forgot how much better the car drives on summer tires :)

Can't the Great Lakes State still get some horrific snow and ice in the next 2+ months?

Of course! The snows are piled up behind the car. I’ll swap them back if that’s the case. I threw them on for this weekend. I plan on having some fun runs [emoji16].

Starting to track down parts for the major service this year. ( timing belt, water pump, new hoses, coolant flush).

Speaking of hoses, has anyone run the roose motorsports silicon ones im seeing on the ebay? If they are quality i was thinking of getting green just to have more colors under the hood for fun.
