Forgot I had these lug nuts laying around.
Hey, I know we didn't get off to a good start, but I just want to say that you got a pretty nice set, rims, tires, lug nuts, all really nice! Congrats.
Those are the tires I am looking at when I wear the ones I have off.
Cheers!

Who is this randy, and what does he do?
Randy Robles from FSWERKS now at Mountune he is their inhouse Tuner calibrator Guy very well respected in the FoST and focus circles here in the NA market you order this you most likely get to work with Him. You order a AP from Mountune and you get the Bespoke tune for 45 days which mean he will Etune your car per your info you provide him and if it meets their Spec. ie a stage 3 tune will need ALL stage 3 parts or he won't be as aggressive with the tune as I am finding out today. We somehow over looked the fact My car is full stage 3 but I forgot to tell him that till we were talking or emailing today and he had no record i had the LEVELS FMIC upgrade and will have to check and see if it meet their spec.. Email [email protected]

Thanks for the info. I wonder if cobb has something like that without buying the race software.

I started mine today, first time in nearly 4 months, still 293 miles on the clock, the same as the day I put it on the lift back then....and blew 1.5 qts of oil all over the place, I forgot I had not hooked up the feed to the turbo that I took off a couple of months ago, all cleaned up, purring like a kitten but still on the lift.....waiting for one little part.....

Ok so i wanted an A pillar mount that cobb sells, problem is its 64$ + tax, conversion to Canadian $$ and shipping... so probably around 100$ for 1$ in materials.
so i started to complain about how we get robbed here to my wife as i always do. then it hit me as it usually does... "I can make that i say" and my wife looks at me and says "i knew you were gonna say that" as she walks away. so here is what i made in about an hour of work and some small scraps i had.

A pillar mount proto 1a.jpg

A pillar mount proto 1b.jpg

A pillar mount proto 1c.jpg

Prototype 1 didnt allow for the AP to fit without hitting the dash.

A pillar mount proto 2 bits.jpg

Here are the bits for prototype 2, it will extend out to allow AP to fit.

Apillar mount 2a.jpg

A pillar mount 2b.jpg

Here is prototype 2 installed, seems to work.

A pillar mount proto 2 driver pov.jpg

Here is my POV with proto 2 in.
I went for a drive to give proto 2 a short field test, works perfect.

so in conclusion, i also can make an A pillar mount for 1$ in materials, and some ingenuity.

[gunfire] to overpriced simple accessories.

Hope you all like it

Functional, yes.
Cheap, yes.
DIY cool, yes.
Pretty, no.

A bit of finer shaping, sanding, painting, then it would be superb:)

Nice job, tidy up with a bit of paint and it will be spot on. DIY is always better when you can save some coin too.
