Never heard of them.....now I understand why....you're in the land down under! Wish they were here....Optima got bought out and production of their AGM quality has taken a digger. [nono]

How many Oz Bucks is that setup (and the requisite charger for it)??

I really wish there were more HIGH/STANDARD power (vs. the low CCA/reserve capacity/etc. ones everyone uses now for track use) lightweight, lithium automotive batteries, which were affordable for us cold weather, daily use people here in the states. [:(]

$550 AUD, charger is 50 bucks, 1 amp. You can not use a desulfator type charger, voids warranty.
Battery specs 620 CCA, 45 AH, fully charged 13.33 volts (OEM, 590 CCA, 60 AH). Operating temp -25 degrees C to 80 degrees C. 2 year limited warranty, you can't jump start or let battery discharge below 8 volts, voids warranty.

^^^That all sounds GREAT, and beats what we have here on price AND (for the most part) specs/power. [cool]

What does it weigh? (kg/lbs.)

Added a custom hitch...

Only for bike rack. I had a roof rack on but just didn't like the look...I will use the roof rack for hauling snowboards or my Thule box if needs be.

Any pics of your install? Difficult?
I will get under and take some pics...I was not there for the actual work on this one, but when I went in to talk to him we had a pretty good idea what he was gonna have to do. The only and I mean ONLY thing I would change, but it comes at a price, is having to use the standard plug. I made the initial cut on the honeycomb piece and I wanted him to make the hitch so that I could either use magnets or glue the honeycomb piece to a standard plug so that it was virtually invisible. The price to pay is that it makes the hitch too short to accept standard attachments...like if I wanted to use an extension for a basket or something. The way it is now the end of the hitch is basically flush with the outboard edge of the honeycomb piece...the pin hole is now in the regular spot (although hard to get to, but the bike I am gonna use does not use a pin hole and I can get to the hole if absolutely had to).

FINALLY got around to installing the Mountune short shift 'block', Boomba solid cable bracket washers/spacers, and the $2.99 Sound Symposer delete.

I am not even going to comment on just what an ordeal all of this was, nor am I going to tell you how much time it took (NO ONE would believe me anyway LOL).
Sorry, but these cars are MOST DEFINITELY NOT "easy to work on". [nono]

Needless to say that working in a 25*F garage, I am now good and sick (sinus infection), and will probably be sore for the next MONTH!! [:(]

Next up; Boomba Racing's oil catch can kit (when I recover!), OH JOY!! [:(]

Had just over 100 miles of driving on Thursday and it got me to the 2k mark.

Filled the tank at the start of the day before leaving and got this at the end.

I let my girlfriend drive it. There's a chip off my right rear weel now. It's not huge and didnt damage the integrity of the wheel, but since it's three days old, it kinda stung xD She misjudged the stickyness of the car and took a turn too sharp hitting the curb. She was driving for 30 minutes and got addicted to the handling and the sound, loving every moment. So I forgive her. She comes to trackdays with me sometimes as well and loves the experience every time. This was the first time she drove a performance car. Poor girl, she was so embarassed, she now never wants to drive it again xD But seeing how much she enjoyed the experience, I'm getting her behind the wheel again when she forgets about the mishap. She's got some petrol in her blood and I love that :)
