So I’m tired of waiting for the Rota Titan’s to restock in hyperblack. I actually prefer the Konig Hypergram in matte black anyway.

Can anyone help me find a Memorial Day deal on them?

PLEASE post up pics of the ride height when everything is installed, and give a review of the FA500s as far as ride goes, and their ability to take big hits on the roads (potholes, etc.). [thumb]

I realize that those are taller springs than their standard kit for this car, but what rate are they, and do they offer optional rates in those taller springs?
Will do.

I did 7kg spring rate front and 4kg in the rear. They didn't seem to have a limit with the options but I was pretty specific with my request. I suggest just emailing them and ask. They respond well to questions.

Changed my brakes today. I think I got the most possible out of the old pad. 🤔

The new EBC yellowstuff should last another year.

I definitely cut it close though. Checked all over the rotors and assembly and it looks just fine. 👌

It was a member day at Atlanta Motorsports Park and I took the Fiesta fully planning to test out the FA 500s we installed this week. Instead, I ended up on the S1000RR... No regrets.

I did receive my Muteki SR48 lugs today. And yesterday I installed the Whoosh Rear Wiper delete. I haven't tested it yet, but I'm hopeful it doesn't leak. It leaves a decent gap, so curious to see how effective the lower gasket is.

Uncomfortably close on those. I thought the Mountune pads I took off this week were cutting it close, but you went next level.

Yeah, here I was thinking that the ~3/16ths I have left on my front factory all season pads was BAD.

Those are basically on the backing plates! [ohcrap]

I once ran on the backing plate for like 2 weeks because a vendor sent me the wrong pads and argued with me the whole time till they sent me the correct ones. Luckily I was also changing the rotors because they were chewed up after putting them through that. The noise was HORRENDOUS. You could see the circles where the pad material is adhered to the backing plate and how little meat was left on them before I reinstalled them. Attached the pic and mind you, this was the better side. Lesson learned, I betrayed Ron at Whoosh to save maybe $10 and I won't make that mistake again lol

I'll be looking at servicing the caliper slide mounts with my next pad change. I believe they're beginning to stiffen up.

Happy Anniversary to my 2019 FiST. lol. Two years this weekend 11,5xx miles and a balance of $5,769 that will be paid off in a year.
Don't worry, I can't trade you in for a younger model. Well, a FiST at least.

Damn, I forgot about that... lol. It's a horrible design and while it's the same location as my Mazda 5 (Fordza 2.3 engine), that one has a right angle plate so the filter points down.

Right-angle plate. What a concept! That would be soooo nice.

I have the Mishimoto radiator and still manage to cram the fl-400 filter in there without too much hassle

Can confirm the FL-400 fits with a Mountune Rad too. I had rotate one of the hose clamps on the oil filter plate. It's tight to get the filter in and out after removing it but fits with plenty of clearance to the shroud once screwed on. I couldn't see the even larger Wix 56569XP working in there though.

The Fram ULTRA 3600 either, which is even longer yet than the FL-400, or the Wix. [nono]

Gave the entire car a once over mechanically and a good cleaning in preparation for a 2,100 mile road trip that starts this Friday from Arizona to Virginia to visit Family and Friends.

I can usually make it from Prescott, AZ to Little Rock, AR in about 16.5hrs before needing sleep, and generally it's another 12hrs to Virginia from there.

I'm really looking forward to getting this car out on the open road, a playlist full of great tunes and getting to see the tail end of Spring time in VA. :)
