WOW! Here I thought that I was the exception with ~37K on the factory brakes due to; no open track/autocross, very little 'canyon carving', and ALWAYS disabling the nannies as much as the button allows, every time I get in the car, even if it is; wet, icy, or snowing on the roads.

Mine will not last much longer, let alone until my next inspection in August, so I am just waiting until Ron releases his rotors to do the brakes. [wink] [thumb]
I pretty much only disable in snow or ice. That ESC all but guarantees I'll get stuck (sapping all the power at the slightest amount of wheel spin).

The larger rotor with the factory calipers has been done, and I believe that someone offers a kit for this (I don't remember who, but someone will chime in who does).

Yes, it does help with heat dissipation over the factory size rotors and also slightly better braking due to greater swept area/leverage factors.

But (for me at least), I'd rather get the benefits of Ron's front big brake kit, with it's FIXED, multi-piston, calipers, if I am going to be forced to use spacers anyway to fit under any wheels, and for probably not much more coin than those kits.

I'd love the rear kit also but it seems like they aren't making it anymore? I haven't contacted them about the rears, just going off of what the website says.

Give us a driving report after you've done a couple hundred miles. Steering response, etc.
If you're going to make the compromise of all (no?) seasons, I'd recommend giving Riken Raptors a look. They've done amazingly well (as well or better than GMAX) powering through the worst Ohio winter in recent memory, at significant savings. Clocked over 40k (hard miles) and still plenty of tread. Earned a spot as my go-to for winters.

I've had 2 sets of Riken Raptors and were great value for the price I paid for them. Have 3 new ones in my garage and will be looking for a 4th to make the set.

lol... you may notice them, but I have so many Ti boxes and pieces around that I forget they exist...lol

I work...A LOT, so I am great at collecting parts, but terrible at finding time to get some of the really good stuff done.

No worries, you still will be...lol.. Mine is and will always be 2.5". 2.75" is the max I personally will go, but 2.75" would be a specialty size for titanium and twice the cost.

Added a 12 and 6.5 with a 1100 watt amplifier with oe speaker connection for rear speaker door with 6.5". Amp is one 1 ch but have a dual power distribution box from battery to run another amp in the future. Will post pictures tomorrow. It sounds bad ass

Wasn't today but a few weeks ago I fitted the ceramic pads to the rear so I now have them on the front and rear, once they are hot they break really well.. I can stop at the lights from 80km/h really late now.. been getting a few filthy looks from people lol..

Same day did gearbox oil and engine oil + filter change..
