I love LS swaps into the right vehicle.
You can make yourself believe anything you wish to imagine but the truth is they are the best for the vast majority of swaps, tiny, light, easy to make great power on pump gas, can be built to what I personally consider stupid power that nobody can really justify other than mostly done for bragging rights......
I would of course not swap one into a Ford, or Dodge, etc but Miata, E36, which I have had the parts and cars here to do and the last project I had left to sell off, 53" Studevette, C5 Z06 chassis with forged and blown LS with first year Studebaker body, nuts pro tour build.....just waiting for the buyer to come and get it. I decided to retired and go full time RVing instead of investing the thousands of hours it was going to take to build.
Do whatever swap you want, been there done that swap, innovative not done before, low cost, low weight, great power, fully built, highly strung, fine by me and I think they are all cool. For thousands of us the LS swap just happens to be the best all around solution for those that are into the end results more than the bragging rights or just personal satisfaction
(I have been thinking about what I could put a Coyote in though, of course!)
