What can I typically expect for pricing when ordering? Nobody in Texas has what I want in their inventory. Close, but too many options.

Expect 6-8 weeks depending on your order priority and dealer allocation.

I don't think an official Ford rep is going to be able to comment on dealer pricing. They can probably point to msrp and rebates and tell you to contact dealers for specific pricing. Saying "this is the price dealers should expect to charge" aside from official msrp is a slippery slope.

Thanks. I'm probably going to go out of state since nobody in Texas wants to deal. It seems to be a recurring theme for all dealers regardless of manufacturer.

Based on other members testimonials, it isn't that slippery.

Well, it only took all week to find a car with JUST Recaros and the Premium painted wheel/caliper option. Molten Orange as well in AZ

Hi there!

As someone else mentioned, I'm unable to discuss pricing as all dealers are independently owned & operated, and any rebates or deals will vary by region and dealership.

Hoping this is the right thread, but about how long does it take to get the VIN? I ordered on the 7th so it hasn't been too long yet.

Welcome to the forum! VIN's are assigned when the vehicle is scheduled for production, or just entered production. The first stage, order processing, is generally the longest, and this is due to a whole host of factors. In a week or two, send me a private message with your order number and dealer code, and I'll take a look. :)

Excellent! I ordered on Feb 2nd myself and am excited for info as well. I'm a mile a minute trying to think of useful things to do and fill the time before it arrives.

I'll be happy to track your order, bmsardou! Just send over a private message with your dealer code and order number towards the end of the month, and I'll take a look.

Thank you, I'll be in touch!

Just to update, I just got my VIN today! It only took a little over two weeks to get it so I'm hopeful that it will be here sooner than I thought!

Who knows, maybe they're speeding up the process, I got my window sticker earlier than expected. I am, however, expecting delays in the trains delivering to the North East with all this bad weather. Maybe not, but it's something to think about.

Here is a comprehensive timeline for my order thus far for reference purposes...

Jan 5: Order submitted
Jan 15: Dealer salesman reports build date of Mar 2
Feb 10: FordService able to provide VIN & ETA of April 12
Feb 20: First day window sticker appears
Feb 27: FordService able to report status was "In Production"
Mar 5: First day build date updates on ETIS (3/3/15)

I'm still impressed my sales guy nailed the build date so close so early on.

That's awesome, seems really quick! My ETA is May 21, definitely not ahead of schedule like I was thinking.
