If I were to go with the Sparco Pro Corsa 17x7.5s, what tire size could I go with to give me the most comfort? I may track my car only once a year so it’s an everyday car and don’t need a high performance tire.

You can try a 45 series sidewall on those but you may run into rub issues. Some folks report rubbing on OEM suspension on 215/45/17, some don't. Your mileage may vary depending on variations in tire size.

If your goal is comfort and you want to keep 17s then I would recommend looking into upgrading your shocks/struts. Seems that upgrading the rear shocks to Koni oranges (about $120) is starting to get popular for folks that don't track often. I've heard it eliminates a lot of the bounciness of the OEM suspension. I'm personally waiting for Bilsteins to get back into stock as I'm wanting to go with their PSS coilover setup

Actually I don’t have an ST, it’s a SFE 1.0. I plan on dropping it a bit but nothing extreme. Maybe do the Eibach pro kit.

I run stock size on my Corsa's. Comfort is really going to depend on the tire. My Firehawks aren't too bad. If you're really going for comfort, drop a size. I just got some 16" Sparco Terra's with Conti ExtremeContacts for winter and they are considerably more comfortable.

I used the 205/45/17 with the Indy 500s and no rubbing when I was still running the stock wheel and that helped some. It will rub lowered though.

Another option is the Koni Orange shocks.

I'm getting tires in about a month I'm trying to decide between these two. I dont drive the car much anymore and barley in the rain. Looking for cheap grip and I don't care about mileage. Any other recommendations will be researched.

A light 16" is the sweet spot I think for these cars. I was amazed how well these cars are with 15s and grippy tires (dunlop direzza).
I just got the dekagrams in 16x8, but have yet to put them on.
I kinda wish they were 16 x 7.5 , just so I can expand my tire selection to something not as wide as the BFGs I'm getting.

I kinda tend to agree with you on a purely performance standpoint. But even in 17” x7.5 mine weighted around 17.5lbs and I love how it fills up the wheel wells and makes the rally armor flaps justified!! ????????????

I’ll take the 1/200th reduction in performance. My next tire size though will be 215/40/17 on the 17x7.5. I think this will be a great ride quality vs performance enhancement!

A big part of sizing down for me is rim/tire protection. I hit a quite mild pothole on the stock set up, and got a nice sized bubble on the sidewall.
17s make the tires look like rubber bands, imo. Not enough meat for my taste.
