Before we get ahead of ourselves what is your sales tax rate? I am getting conflicting information online.

Is that 21k figure OTD, all taxes, fees, and such?
I'd be paying 6.25% tax. They valued my trade at 9k so it would be minus that for taxes.

With all these sub 22k deals I'm at least going to talk to some other dealers about ordering, as this one also has the painted wheels I don't care about. All I really want is recaros.

Hi!

I'm new here. Thanks for all the great info! I've been negotiating with Grody in Buena Park for a Fist with Recaros and no other options. I thought I had a good deal, but some of you guys seem to be stealing, specifically from Grody!

Right now, they've offered it at $22,235 before the $1000 customer cash. That seems like a decent deal, but it looks like others here have been able to do better with Grody. I know the incentives vary wildly from month to month, and I can't tell if the others got more than $1000 customer cash and are counting that in their paid price.

I also just ordered a brochure hoping to get private cash from Ford - Are they still doing that? Or did I miss the boat on that one?

Yep, when I stop by Grody, they are not very willing to deal at all. I got my own financing, no trade in, didn't brought any extra, so I end up going to another dealer for the car.

that's a good deal. IMO, minus $1000 that's 21k

There are only 4 or 5 dealers with this configuration (Recaros only) on the lot, and none of them are willing to go any lower than Grody. So, this may just be the best deal I can get right now.

Caliboy15, if you got your base model for $18,780, then you did about $500 better than I'm getting with the seats.

On a side note, Grody has the 2015 Focus ST's on the lot now, so I'm likely heading over there to test drive the new FoST anyway.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm actually surprised Galpin (supposedly a much larger dealer) didn't even believe the Grody quote is real... I just hope there are no shenanigans.

EDIT: I just got my $500 coupon from Ford through email!

Go to this page: http://www.ford.com/brochures/?gnav=footer-tools

Select a brochure for the Mustang and Taurus (not the Fiesta or Focus). Enter your email to receive Ford new and updates. That's what I did and I got the coupon within a day or two through email.

Well, mine was actually quite the ordeal. Ill try to keep it short. I had a 2014 fiesta se sedan bought back in June of 14. I did a few things here and there to it and it just wasn't the same. I saw a couple focus ST's around and thought I'll just go check one out to see what I could have had. Then I came across the FiST and fell in love lol. But bad thing is I just bought a car. I waited six months and went to trade in....wasn't happening. So I went back in the beginning of this month and actually sat down a fought tooth and nail with these salesman to get this car. Long story short, I had about 9 grand worth of negative equity. I was able to get them to 0$ down, 388$ a month, Extend all my services contracts, first set of tires free (documented in writting), a couple of other things, and a 1.9%apr.

Oh don't worry, I made the 9k vanish, and dropped my payments from the 470$ a month they originally wanted.

Here is the deal I got for a 2015 Base Model ST. Just ordered it on 3/5/15. I copied this off of my truecar offer. I thought it was pretty good deal and this was without even Haggling. Very rarely can you go to a dealer and get a fair honest price. Great salesman. If your in the Denver area ask for Paul Pfiefer. Great guy!

I did not originally get that truecar price off the sight. I went down to him after we agreed on a price he sent me that offer through truecar as a receipt for my order.

When I got my 2015 back in November, I got the lowest Truecar price I could find with rado wheels and nav in all of greater LA/OC/IE at $21k and then I sent it to all the other dealers and only one beat it - Santa Monica. It was hassle free. Did the whole thing over texting and one phone call. I came in and signed the papers. I thought I got a good deal, but some of you got below $19k??? That's great!

I ended up buying one with the Recaros and Rados from Perry Ford in Santa Barbara for $24,110 out the door (we pay lots of tax in California). I didn't get the $1000 cash back; I took the 0% APR for 60 months instead.

I had a verbal deal with Grody in Orange County for the same price, though minus the Rados, but they reneged on it. That was a really bad experience at Grody.
