I haven't ordered yet. Started bugging my dealer yesterday and today narrowed down what I wanted. Oxford White. Painted wheels/calipers. No moon roof. No Recaro. No nav. I found one at another dealer and asked for my dealer to set it up, but after further review,
the other dealer doesn't have it and it actually doesn't have a build date yet. We're not sure yet if it is spoken for or not. I could ask for my dealer to trade for a performance blue FiST, but I don't really like how the purples pop out of the perf blue.

I'm working on an X plan. I don't think it makes a difference though. If it exists, you can get it. If it doesn't, you have to order it. There are a lot of FiSTs with more options than I want on the lots.

I think it would be sweet if we could get Gray on the FiST. I'd pick that if it was available. Or Yellow like was mentioned in another thread.

Yup I have the Blue but compared to my blackberry Pearl Challengers and Kona Blue Mustang it just don't see the purple or maybe I am just immune and like the pruple LOL I used Xplan too and like the fact it limits BS dealer charges ..

I was told 4-6 weeks by the dealer I had ordered from. And told 8-10 by the dealer I test drove one at. Sunday makes five weeks and I was given a VIN this week. So production might be coming along a little quicker. It seems most guys that waited the longest had really early orders. When the plant shut down and then wheels were back ordered. Only a few rare cases, more so in Canada of extremely long wait times.

I'd say 8-10 will be a fair estimate.

If you want shoot me your vin, I did a lot of forecasting on mine based on production I was seeing and was within 2 days of when mine would be built. Buddy just did same for his explorer order and predicted the day his window sticker popped. We will see if he is right for build date too.

Where do you get info on forecasting ? I'm glad it's not going to be as long as the company I work for all models are 9 months out and some and up to 1.5 yrs

Elgin sweeper manufacturing. We build street sweepers, both mechanical and air machines. We produce around 700 units a year.

Just me being a data geek, looked for recently built and recently invoiced FiST's. Took a pretty big sample size to see invoiced vs built time frames and assumed roughly same time frames would apply on future builds. Turned out pretty close.

I'm not quite sure I'm ready to find out how much longer I have to wait. If you predict something too far out I'll be upset and ruin my weekend..
If it doesn't update by next week I'll let you do your voodoo Magic and make a prediction.

Congrats on deciding! I have molten orange, and I love it, but I wish is didn't appear quite so red at times. I love tangerine scream on the Focus ST. White paint is really the color of the moment, though. So, you'll have great resale, that is, if you can ever stand to part with it [coolsmile].
