Here are different orientations in different lighting. Keep in mind that it would be much more difficult with something other than royal purple, but then I would just get it in the light and you can tell pretty easy. I have the ribbed corkscrew looking dipstick on FiST #2 and that is terrible with a capital ERRIBLE

Wouldn't be complicated to make our own blade style. Just have to get a longer blade to start with, match the stock length (plus handle insert) and crosshatch the bottom to the proper height to match the stock for full-min. You can get different stock style handles cheap and there is just a minpin that holds the blade in. I would even be more happy with a blade than current.

Maybe this will be my next project

Here I thought that THIS was the one which everyone was complaining about. [???:)]

This is the one my late '16 had right from the factory.

To my knowledge some people had complaints about it, but the goofy silver ribbed one is the main culprit. I have both and the one I have pictured is far better imo
