FORScan reverse/backup camera discussion thread

Forgot to answer previous post, AFAIK this car came with SYNC3, that's at least what it was set up as when I bought it

Checking through the settings, I see that there is a camera settings option now for camera delay, but still no response when shifting into reverse

Changed my wires to tap into that purple/black and blue wire like in your picture, and even checked them with a voltmeter, but still no response

Even if the camera isn't set up correctly, it should still be doing something when I shift into reverse right?

On a side note, tried programming a keyfob through FORscan and that didn't work either, said no key was detected

AFAIK the keyfob I bought is the correct FCCID, tried 5 times with the key pressed against the steering column in various positions

This is so odd...it shouldn't be this difficult. Let's take a step back and try to solve the easiest issue which is the ST splash screen. Which adapter are you using? Have you confirmed that the values are sticking after turning off the car? Are you writing to the "APIM Module configuration (AS BUILT format)" and not to "APIM Module configuration"?
