Paypal does a poor job when it comes to fraud issues. I got ripped off when I bought a dash cam that was too good to be true. PP sided with the merchant but when I presented the info to my Discover card, they issued a prompt refund.

Since Paypal and Fleabay are one and the same, I'm not exactly surprised.

Even back then people were still exclusively locked into using PayPunk. It was my assumption that everyone on FleaBay was still locked into using PayPunk but assuming AI is correct, this may have changed roughly five years ago. Personally quit dealing with FleaBay over a decade ago due to ~90% return rates and seller games. (they're the reason I quit repairing small electronics -- volume sellers figured out it was cheaper to use their customers to test products they acquired)

You can still pay for stuff on eBay using PayPal, but all seller accounts (even individuals just selling their old crap) go direct to bank account. It’s not possible to get your money through PayPal anymore. I guess the rationale is that eBay no longer has to pay PayPal or credit card transaction fees on both ends because they’re just using direct deposit and keeping the selling fees

Used it to pull the LO206 kart to the track. This little trailer is about to get an overhaul. New decking, new paint and smaller tires so it tows flatter behind the cars. I originally built it to be towed behind Jeeps so the tires and deckheight were built around that.

Took my pride and joy through the car wash TWICE yesterday! Hadn't been washed since 1 Jul! Back on my feet but very cautiously.

Did a brake job on my new to me fiesta. Old pads still had a good amount of life left but the rotors had more rust than I was comfortable with. I was kind of surprised the previous owner went for Hawk HPS 5.0 pads but didnt replace the rotors also.

 

[Stubborn Approach]

Had a worn out <4 year old Duralast battery, so replaced it with an Odyssey PC680 & Mele mount.

Also noticed that the bushing on the VT transmission mount was starting to fail with ~50k miles on it. So I replaced it with a Damond street mount, NVH did not change at all.

Running both Damond mounts now, which I would confidently recommend over VTs quickly failing rubber mounts. I’ll be on all 3 once this Whoosh race RMM wears out, 50k on it and still looks like the day I installed it every time I inspect it.
