Leaking Trunk

A few months back I tackled my leaking trunk. It was pretty bad and filling with water. It turns out the tail lamp seals had failed and I cleaned those up and put a bunch of gorilla tape over it and sealed it up.

Now to present, I have having a minor leak coming from this spot. The arrow indicates where the water is standing and the circle indicated the piece of carpet that is wet.
Do you think the seal on that area has failed and is letting water splash up? I do not see any other signs of dampness, and it has rained the last day or so, so I don't think it could have dried quite yet.

Anyone one else have the same issue? Suggestions? It does not look like any spot directly near an area that could leak.

Do you have a sunroof? Perhaps a rain channel drain is clogged??

Would it drain right there? It is just behind the passenger seat, on the drivers side, but not really anywhere that IU could see something dripping.

Was wondering if it was splashing up from the wheel well maybe?

That one should dump out by the rear wheel. Have someone run a hose on the roof and see if you get water in the car. The channel could be clogged. Or even popped loose from its intended spot

I will have to take a look, where would I find the hose exactly? The headliner or?
I tried dumping water but did not notice anything new....unless I need to drive and create pressure.

It t should run vertically down that side. Probably have to pop trim panels off in the trunk and rear seat area to find it.
