You're overthinking it. Ford takes a cut for pitching Mountune's stuff. They know the car is generously detuned from factory for several reasons. I think the engine is safe with either option, including Cobb OTS. Failed axles are a separate issue. If 10%-15% more torque snaps them, they weren't put together right from the factory to begin with.
