Updated the video to show the initial pulsation and then what happens after you tap immediately after, then how it pulsates again after 10 seconds.
The one I use does that as well.
So people just have more options.

OK I received and installed mine today, thank you for the quick shipping. Took a little longer for me because there was literally only 1 inch of wire exposed from the car once everything was disconnected, very short! but with a little creativity I got it taken care of and the results are quite nice. Thanks again for making me aware of this mod, it's a great one for sure.

This is where I bought mine http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/brake-light-flasher-c-65/. The pulses are completely programmable (speed and number of pulses). It also has different timer options that allow it to delay in traffic. Literally took 5 mins to install and only $20. They even have another pulsator with less options for $15. Can't beat it.

I have my pulse set so fast that the camera doesn't pick it up well.

Hmm I like options. If the plug and plug one for the mustang is a no go this is a good option. How is it programmed?

Looks like there are some good options out there. $50 is a lot to pay for a few components and wires, $20 is more like it. Still I like having one that comes with connectors and has the circuit protected and insulated and does not need to be programmed.

Either way this is a great cheap mod that has made my day!

Hey just another review/thought after a week or so with this mod....

1. People have DEFINITELY backed off especially at stops. It is noticeable. The Pulse piece that I got (opposed to other similar modules) has a pretty mean/aggressive flashing burst that communicates BACK OFF! Not placebo - multiple people have gotten behind me at a light and stayed about 8 feet from the car where before people would pull up much closer. This is great.

2. While I think this is a great mod I think that if the plug and play option that some are looking into becomes an option, it is a much better way to go, especially if it was the same price. That way there would be no issues installing. You might remember from my previous post that I had such a small amount of wire play I decided to solder the connections for longevity. But if a plug and play option becomes available it would be the way to go, as I don't see the average car owner want to solder in such closed quarters.

Thanks again OP for raising awareness of this great mod.
