Hello guys,
I am a new fiesta st owner from china, nice to meet you
I have a question about my car's Automotive Instrumentation, Before I purchased this vehicle, I had already had the vehicle inspected by a professional in advance and confirmed that the vehicle's had traveled 92,546 kilometers, but after I received the vehicle and had the ECU read, the mileage display in the gauge magically jumped to 149,000 kilometers, and I'm wondering if this means that there is something fishy with my mileage or if there is something wrong with the gauge that is causing such a problems appear? pls help! I really need a real answer, thank you!

One thing I notice is that if you multiply 92,454 by 1.6, this gets you approximately the difference. This is the conversion from miles to kilometers.

I would get the distance traveled from the ECU and see how it compares to what the odometer is putting out. It might just be a glitchy gauge cluster versus something fishy going on. I would then try to clean the negative terminal on the battery and verify the grounds are in good condition. Leave the battery disconnected for the night.

I removed the symposer in my car and the A/C just stopped working. I even unplugged the battery and it didn't work. I flashed my ECU with a Cobb Accessport and it magically came back. I think these cars are sensitive electronically.
