P.S. I am at 4.700 ft elevation so likely to make a fair amount more power at sea level. I was making around 400 at the crank at 5,200 ft with the EFR.

That is what I did then realized it was not showing any profiles so I was starting from scratch each time. Once I reinstalled it the profiles showed up and I was able to edit the ST one to fit more car more exactly and fix errors on the preloaded one. Now though it shows 256 WHP at 20 PSI at 5300 RPM, big spike, boost is very stable, ARF as well, something not quite right. I would of felt that instead of a very linear acceleration that follows the boost which if flat from 4,000 to 6,600.

Back with the modded stock turbo, AFR and the last engine, died from loss of coolant, we ran the rev limit and datalog runs up to I think it was 7,300. Any reason not to or has it become apparent not a good idea on stock engine (2016 in 2014 car)

One can always short shift, no reason to redline all the time depending on the road, course, etc......but nice to have to limit shifts while on track, etc and keep the car more stable.

Thanks!
Rick
What gear was the pull in? How are the tires?

3rd gear, tires are 225/45/15 Rival S, LSD, tons of grip though they could of been spinning as not on the best of roads but the best I have available. It did not feel nor sound like spinning tires. There is a section a bit trickier to use I might try next time.

I would not like to have to use 4th gear, not a good idea in this area, lots of LEO, not many roads, not city like traffic but enough making it hard to find a good place to make runs. My car is the only modified FiST in the area wide tires, lowered, splitter, CF hood, easy to get a bad rep here.

I love living here, wonderful place, as long as you do not have the wrong car for it, why selling it.

What is odd is the 20 PSI at 4k RPM with nice power curve then at 5k spiked right up then back down by 5.5k like fell out of a tree though the boost was the same level all across from 4k to 6.6k.

Usually I end up running in the heat of the day, 80-90 degrees, early AM it was 64 and road temp probably less as sun just up and it was 55 last night, that seems to be the issue.

Even when I had the EFR making around 400HP, on a warm day, good surface, did not spin a bit even in second gear and just a bit off the line in first, lots of torque steer, why I went to a smaller turbo. Unfortunately the guy I sold it two found a better tuner than I had and his power curve was far better, mine was like an on and off switch, not good for real world use except maybe a drag racer which I am not.

I might go make another run the AM when warmer but hopefully hear back from tuner before then.
