Bummer .. Yeah get it fixed
[raceflag] Keep me in the loop. :)

Meagan
Here's a short video of the clicking. Sorry for the terrible cell phone quality. But the first few seconds are me ruffling around, placing the phone near the clutch. Everything click after that though is me pushing down, engaging, the clutch. As you can tell it's pretty loud and happens every time.

I highly doubt every ST sounds like that every time you shift, like they are saying.

I had a slight clicking sound too, I lubed the clutch pedal area, the return springs and everything with some bearing grease and the sound went away, plus the clutch feels smoother too.

Yeah, mine doesn't sound like that. Good news is that it doesn't sound like it will or should be a hard fix. They probably just don't know what precisely is causing it. It definitely seems to be a spring or engagement within the clutch pedal itself rather than inside of the transmission or linkage - which is a good thing. Now just need to get Ford to find the cause of the noise and fix it for you. Hopefully Meagan can help you with that.

Also doesn't seem like that noise will lead to any further failures down the road - not saying you don't want to get it fixed, I definitely would - but it doesn't sound like it's a moving part inside of the system that can lead to even more failures. Seems to be a faulty or poorly lubed joint in the pedal somewhere. At least from what I can tell from the video (sure it sounds much more pronounced in person)

I want it completely fixed. No new car's clutch should click like that. And I've taken it to them 3 times already, and now in the process of going back a 4th time. I just want it fixed properly.

Kip,

That sounds inside the car and it sounds like a switch and there is one on the pedal, either you have an exceptionally loud one or something is sticking out and hitting the pedal somewhere during the travel.

Have you crawled under there with a flashlight and looked, pushing down on the pedal to listen or it to hard to do have some help?

It might be a very simple fix that would take far less of your time than going back the dealer.

I haven't really got under there and looked, hoping when I had it at the dealership for my oil change it would have been taken care of. But I'll take a look.

It's like the one thing I dislike about the car. That's it. Ha.

It seems really silly they did not fix this for you buddy, I bet it is something quite simple. I rarely take a vehicle in for service of any sort as prefer to do my own work and take the time to do it right.

And this is the third I've had it in there and told them about. This was the first time they actually did something. They replaced a pedal pad, which as soon as I heard that I knew it wasn't going to be fixed. Now he says he must drive another ST, which I know they don't have on their lot, and see if it's a common problem with them.

Got my bi-xenon HID projector kit in today, this is going to be a pretty intense install as went for 3" projectors, some pretty serious housing surgery will be in order so I will not get to this for awhile, have to finish up other projects. I want a lot of light but not blinding so went with 35 watt bulbs and big lens, they are high and low beam.

I was going to get the 2.5" lens version but the rep said they would fit and not be much more work and have better output so I am going to see how it goes.

Mirimoto FX-R lens, 3"
D2S 3Five DSP
DS2 XB 5500K
Bullit shrouds

I read great reviews on this brand and they look very impressive, very well packed, etc.....

I ran my Accessport cable up in and through the dashboard today as well as mounted the Accessport to the dash. I really like the cable routing but I may move the Accessport to the center area in front of the shifter as I'm not sure of how the airbag deploys. I need to research that.

Looks good man. I'm trying to figure out where to put mine. Might get the suction cup holder they have on amazon. It got good reviews.

Thanks, the wiring portion required me to take the entire center console apart to route it how I wanted it, lol. The biggest thing for me to figure is the location in reference to how the airbag deploys as I don't need an Accessport being blasted at any of my passengers or myself in the event of a collision.
