I'm not on here very often, been meaning to post up some more recent pics of my FiST. Most recent "upgrades" are 6000k HID'S, LED interior lights and license plate lights, yellow fog overlays, rally armor universal mudflaps, shifter base and cable bracket bushings, and straight piped exhaust, with the stock cat.. photo credit to my buddy Ryan.

Can you provide some info on the HIDs you used? Are they just bulbs integrated into the stock headlights or did you have some sort of projectors installed inside the housing? How's the light output?

No projectors yet, planning to do a full retrofit with custom LEDs to look more like the euro headlights, with way less chrome haha. But sometime in the spring when I have more dinero... for now it's just a 35W 6000K HID kit from DDMtuning.com in the stock housings.

I installed the GT Yellow fog overlays from Headlight Armor yesterday. They look great on my MO FiST! Very easy to install. I'd recommend them to anyone wanting this look.

Installed a Cobb FMIC, downpipe, intake and a RMM. As soon as I put the bumper on I had to leave to take my daughter to soccer practice. I can't upload stage 3 map until tomorrow after work. Ugh![bawling] image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Installed my Boomba Trans Bracket Bushings. Subtle but noticeable improvement!
I think I'm getting a Battery Bracket next. It's such a PITA to remove it for what should be a relatively quick job.
It doesn't help that I have a sore lower back. [bawling]

Did the job Ford Techs were scared to do and pulled my passenger side CV axle.

Why would you think that Ford should warranty a part that you broke at a drag strip when running more than OEM power?

Picked up my mountune short shift kit and induction hose from the post office. $58 duty fees, which is a shame.

Booked an appointment with Ford to have the shift kit installed over the holidays. Will install the induction hose myself.

See how there are 3 pieces that when put together would make a circle with splines inside it? They are supposed to be together, not broken in 3 places.

Being that its broken in 3 pieces shows it was shock that blew it apart, as apposed to over powering it which would have shaved the splines out.

It also highlights that even the most stiff hardcore rrm is not enough. Boomba already told me a few weeks ago they were not making any other engine mounts... Looking into lower control arms and bushings now...

At least this little turd car is very easy to work on, I love it.

So if your fuel pump went out tomorrow and cost $800, that wouldn't be fords fault because you have a tune?

So they built a 200hp car that can't handle 233whp? Guess your right, not there fault, lol.

How many members have broken motor mounts or driveshafts? How many of them have broken both? It's not coincidental and it definitely isn't Ford's fault.

^This...you can't blame Ford for breaking your driveshaft when you're putting down an extra 30whp. Its like putting an extra amp on the speakers and blaming Ford when your speakers blow.

30whp, lol. I'm the only one breaking parts because I'm one of like 3-4 people I know that goto the track to run faster than 14.8. And one of the guys sold his car after the clutch was giving up on drag radials.

Like i said... If ford was to hand you a bill for $800 on a HPFP that failed because you increased the load on it by 12%, you'd get a feel for how i feel about it. Me personally, I felt they should have replaced it. Its not a big turbo 300whp car. Its 12 months old. It has 22k miles.

The Fist isn't the only car built like this... Srt4's do the samething. They shear motor mount bolts. Camaro SS's bend read control arms BONE STOCK at the track.

Its not the end of the world. 45 minutes, $160 axle and its done. But... I just feel like when a company ( any company ) sells a performance car, they should fix it if it breaks while "performing", lol. Like the first GT-R's that ate transaxles from using the factory launch control, and nissan denied those claims as well, lol. $25k trans, broke using factory launch control.

I'm actually disappointed with the dealer/techs more than ford. The real issue is warranty pay vs customer pay. And "Carlos" didn't want to it and make reasonable money, they wanted to make customer pay. They were REALLY QUICK to offer to do the work for only $145. Basically $145 an hour.

Did I mention that the ford dealers can't get the cv axle until after New years ? That means the car sits until Jan and they'd be paying for a rental.

Just letting you guys know what to expect, I was told Ford requires pictures of every part of the car emailed to them to get approved for warranty work. A downpipe, an intercooler, and I'm sure an air intake would have made their mind up, if the techs being pussys and scared to work on a fwd turbo car didn't make up there mind before they even pulled it in.

Guess we should all be corvette guys and drive around doing 40mph in 50mph zones in fear of voiding our warranties for asking the performance car to.... Perform.
